How long can we allow the maniacs who are driving us to the brink of World War Three to stay in power? We'd better do something soon, or we will all be done for. My special thanks to Gilad Atzmon, whose reading of the "Israeli Peace Manifesto" helps to point up the gulf between what they say and what they do. The original text can be found at: www.pro-israel.org Gilad's rather more honest writing can be found at: www.gilad.co.uk He's a pretty cool saxophone player, too. Officials say US troops in Iraq will still be in combat and taking on militants despite the withdrawal of the last US "combat brigade" being hailed as a symbolic moment for the controversial American presence there, more than seven years since the invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. On Aug. 22cnd, three days after the US declared combat operations in Iraq to be officially over, a US soldier was killed in a rocket attack in the Iraqi city of Basra.

An old music video from about a year ago. To settle some people while I get this TriPod working. Please excuse the shaky cam, this was before we had a tri-pod. Also note that some footage has been lost, and some of that footage actually utilized a tri-pod. However, only these scenes still exist. To protect identities, all cast members are listed as either their nicknames or their initials. Enjoy Main Storyline: A soldier who was drafted into war when he was nearly 5 comes back to his home a whopping 9 years later. However, he starts having flashbacks of the war and the cruelty that was included with the service. Clips/Flashbacks Include: clips of wars of the past and present, including WW2, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Also flashbacks of the soldiers commander from long ago. And finally, the return home is also included here. Non-Flashbacks include comparisons between many of histories famous and infamous figures, mash pits, Credit for clips include but not limited to: History Channel Full Metal Jacket Several YouTube Users For all my reviews visit my website idacashmansmoviereviews.webs.com
Cost of Iraq's 'new era'

The US government has said that the change of military strategy in Iraq is a "new era" for the country. Operation Iraqi Freedom will become Operation New Dawn from Wednesday. This means fewer soldiers in the country, but more diplomats who will be living in the world's biggest embassy in Baghdad. The embassy stretches across 2km and and 104 acres of land - six times the size of the UN headquarters and bigger than the Vatican. Along with four new regional offices it will house nearly 2500 diplomats, protected by as many as 7000 private security guards. For travel anywhere outside of the embassy, the diplomats have a new fleet of armoured cars, trucks and special aircraft. All this will cost the US .5bn next year, over and above the costs of maintaining a military force of 50000 American soldiers. Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports.

June 9, 1987 www.amazon.com Watch the full testimony: thefilmarchived.blogspot.com Scott Ritter has stated that CIA-backed bombings had been undertaken in Iran by the MEK, an opposition group included in the US State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. In April 2006, a blog called The Raw Story cited an unnamed UN source "close to" the UN Security Council, stating that the United States had used former MEK members as proxies in Iran for "roughly a year." The blog said that the proxies were made to "swear an oath to Democracy and resign from the MEK" before being incorporated into American military units and trained for their operations in Iran. In March 2006, the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan (PEJAK), an opposition group closely linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) killed 24 members of the Iranian security forces. The PEJAK is linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which is listed by the US State Department as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Dennis Kucinich stated in an April 18, 2006, letter to Bush that PEJAK was supported and coordinated by the United States, since it is based in Iraq, which is under the de facto control of American military forces. In November 2006, journalist Seymour Hersh in The New Yorker supported this claim, stating that the American military and the Israelis are giving the group equipment, training, and targeting information in order to create internal pressures in Iran. Global intelligence company Stratfor ...

Note for the Youtube Politburo; before censoring this video as well, it must be pointed out that these images are already available at the site. I am merely making them accessible to Spanish speakers. See how British soldiers entertain themselves, "have fun" with Iraqi boys.

WED 27 - SUN 31 OCT | Since its very first performances, the National Theatre of Scotland's multi-award winning Black Watch has received standing ovations and enjoyed sold-out performances everywhere it has appeared, nationally and internationally. Hurtling from a pool room in Fife to an armoured wagon in Iraq, Black Watch is based on interviews conducted by Gregory Burke with former soldiers who served in Iraq. Viewed through the eyes of those on the ground, Black Watch reveals what it means to be part of the legendary Scottish regiment, what it means to be part of the war on terror and what it means to make the journey home again. John Tiffany's production makes powerful and inventive use of movement, music and song to create a visceral, complex and urgent piece of theatre that is as relevant in 2010 as ever.

WikiLeaks released a classified US military video depicting three airstrikes from a US Apache helicopter on July 12, 2007 in New Baghdad, Iraq. At least eighteen people were killed in the airstrikes, including two journalists working for Reuters, Saeed Chmagh and Namir Noor-Eldeen. The video was recorded by the gunsight camera on the Apache helicopter, identified as Crazyhorse 18, and is accompanied by the radio communications of the helicopter gunmen as they communicate with their commanders and troops on the ground. When the video begins, the helicopter is circling above the city. It then focuses in on a group of men walking in the street, including the Reuters journalists. The soldiers in the helicopter state that they see members of the group carrying weapons, ask their commanding officers for permission to engage (fire), and fire upon the group with 30mm rounds. The camera then follows Chmagh as he crawls along the road, and the soldiers can be heard urging him to pick up a weapon. A van, which was later learned to be carrying two children to school along with their father, arrives and several men pick Chmagh up and begin to carry him toward the van. The helicopter requests and is given permission to fire upon the van as it tries to leave. They fire upon the van with 30mm rounds. The video then shows ground troops arriving at the area. A soldier can be seen running as he carries one of the children wounded in the attack on the van. In the third attack depicted in the ...

The Obama administration has proudly stated that they are withdrawing troops from Iraq to have no more combat troops on the ground. The troops are supposed to be assisting Iraqi troops and training them. The problem is that the soldiers, even though they are classified as non combat, are still going out and completing missions assigned to them. Jack Rice says that the US cannot simply say mission accomplished, however the problems that the Iraqis faced before the war are still there and until they are resolved the war is not over.

Short of a TV, car tyres or maybe even a treadmill? North of Baghdad, there's only one place to go -- Tikrit market. Lying on the main highway connecting Mosul to the capital, the market has thrived since US soldiers moved in down the road as traders have been picking up cheap disused items from the military base to sell on a cut prices. But with most US troops now on the move, sellers from former leader Saddam Hussein's home town, are worried they may soon struggle to make ends meet. A Natural Sound Version of an AFPTV report

great song performed by The Tossers from their Album Purgatory Well I often walk down to the pub in springtime To take the summer breeze and drink with friends But on the 12th day of September I went down there To the derision of all muslims and Afghans Being assaulted here in neighborhoods around me Personally and in their jobs and schools and homes And the barfly's said we should send 'em all back overseas Well will you be the one to pay for their plane fare home Well their women must come over here for sanctuary's sake Being the victims of honor killings still permissable in numerous states By fanatical law a shamed husband can gun 'em down you see When it's affirmed by family and state then they have no where to flee Well we should wipe 'em off the fuckin' map they tell me Cause we don't know when or where they will strike next But I say we don't know their custom or what's happened there Being American we've been veiled from that text Well it's easier to manipulate a leader who needs food and guns So we've promoted chaos over there all along To not have to deal with an independent stable oil power Who don't need us or could tell us so long And every time there's a faction with potential to out sell We profiteer 'em full of guns and missiles and so go out and kill We supported Iran and Iraq and Afghanistan oh dread Kids with guns starving to death if they get near you you're dead Oh take me away o'er the country side With no natural resource or bombs or peering eyes ...
