Skyland 2nd grader, Jameson Lowry was very excited about having his classmates help him write letters and draw pictures for his brother-in-law Corporal Conrad Simmons, a US Marine serving in Iraq. The students in Mrs. Leonhardt's class had been learning about writing friendly letters, and their computer lab instructor Mrs. Ensley helped them type the letters into a word document. The students wrote a little about themselves and asked questions about Corporal Simmons' daily life in Iraq. They even wrote that he should share the letters with his friends.
