Family and friends of an Elyria soldier killed in Iraq are preparing to say goodbye. Services for Pfc. Jason Cox are to be held later this week. An improvised explosive device killed Cox last Monday in Iraq. His body will return to Lorain County on Wednesday. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Lagrange Road.The time for Saturday's funeral hasn't been announced.Cox had been in Iraq for about a year.
