It could be up to a month before the autopsy results come back. Until then, Don and Mary Scott of Boyceville won’t know how or why their 28-year-old son, Spc. Donald J. Scott Jr., died unexpectedly on July 29 at Fort Hood, Texas.

In the meantime, Mary said on Wednesday afternoon, the investigation into Scott’s death is ongoing — and the family is just working on getting through the memorial services on Friday. “We just got his body yesterday [Tuesday]; it took that long,” she reported.
