Killeen Police have released the identity of a 20 year-old Fort Hood soldier who died in a one-vehicle crash along the Harker Heights-Killeen city line Tuesday morning.

Angelo Shane Allen of C Company, 15th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division was traveling on South Roy Reynolds Drive in a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon when the vehicle continued across the road into a culvert located on the south side of the Veterans Memorial Boulevard, according to a Killeen Police Department news release. His vehicle then went flying into the air, striking a pipe in the culvert, causing his vehicle to flip, land upside-down and trap him inside.
